Foundations
The participants present at the Conference "European Ways of Brief Strategic and Systemic Therapy" in Arezzo, Italy, from November 6 to 9, 2003 facing the evolution of mental health problems at the European level and the importance of the contexts in which these problems are appearing and being maintaining, are deciding the following
Resolutions:
An EUROPEAN NETWORK will be created. Its name will be "European NETWORK of Brief Strategic and Systemic Therapy"
The aim of this netword, constituted by individuals and organisations, is to help people, families and larger human systems confronted by suffering and/or difficulties which are limiting their abilities.
This network will stimulate research, facilitate publications and organise scientific gatherings dealing with brief strategic and systemic therapy.
It will be open to collaborations which, in the context of respect for the individual as well as the human systems seeking help and strict ethical guidelines, wish to join their efforts to those of the network to support the realisation of its aims.
The participants of this meeting and founders of this network entrust the coordiantion of their activities to Professor Giorgio Nardone of Arezzo, Italy who wil become the coordiantor of the "European NETWORK of Brief Strategic and Systemic Therapy".
